Plant and fleet schedule
Document owned and financed equipment, utilisation, current finance commitments and any major repairs or replacements expected.
Mobilisation costs
Estimate the cash needed before a new project starts producing billable work: transport, float costs, site establishment, labour, accommodation and initial fuel can all matter.
Fuel and maintenance
Use recent actual costs to build a realistic forecast. Unexpected plant downtime can rapidly change project cash requirements.
Project payment cycle
Map claim dates, certification periods, payment terms and retentions. Match proposed funding to the period between expenditure and expected receipts.
Security position
If business assets may secure finance, existing PPSR registrations can be relevant. The PPSR is the official register of security interests in personal property; businesses should obtain advice about their specific security position.
