Introductions should be transparent and made with the client’s authority.
SME Capital Partners is preparing a professional referral network for accountants, advisers, brokers and industry groups. Formal commercial arrangements will only be introduced after the relevant compliance position is finalised.
Funding should address a defined business need and sit within a credible plan for the company after the facility is advanced.
Introductions should be transparent and made with the client’s authority.
A useful referral explains the business purpose, amount, trading position and urgency without overstating the client’s eligibility.
Tax, legal, accounting, restructuring and R&D advice stay with appropriately qualified advisers.
Accountants, tax practitioners, restructuring advisers, R&D specialists, commercial brokers, industry associations and other professional advisers serving established Australian SMEs.
Business name and industry; approximate funding purpose and amount; key timing; whether the business is trading; and the right decision-maker contact. Sensitive information should not be sent casually by email.
Being on a pre-launch information list does not create an agency, partnership, authorised representative relationship or approved referral arrangement.
Any future referral fees, disclosures, conflicts-management process and marketing permissions will be documented before the program goes live.
