The planned path from enquiry to a funding decision.
SME Capital Partners is currently in pre-launch. When applications open, the intended process will begin with a short enquiry, followed by information review, credit assessment, proposed terms and documentation where a facility is approved.
Register / enquire
Before launch, join the interest list. Once applications open, provide the business, amount and funding purpose.
Information review
Relevant financial, tax, banking, R&D or business information may then be requested depending on the product.
Credit assessment
The business purpose, trading position, liabilities, repayment strategy, security and other relevant factors would be assessed.
Offer & documentation
If a future application is approved, final pricing, security, repayment and conditions would be documented before funding.
What happens before launch?
The current website accepts registrations for updates and early access information only. Registering interest is not a credit application and does not create an approval or offer.
What may happen when applications open?
A future applicant may be contacted to clarify the funding purpose and provide the minimum information needed for an assessment. The required document set will vary by product and business.
What documents might be requested?
Depending on the product, information may include financial statements, management accounts, bank statements, ATO account information, existing debt details, R&D evidence and support for the intended use of funds.
When would pricing be disclosed?
Any proposed interest, fees, term, repayment structure, security and other material conditions would need to be disclosed in the relevant offer or facility documentation before acceptance.
