Business-purpose focus
The planned products are intended for genuine business needs rather than consumer-purpose credit.
SME Capital Partners is preparing to launch an Australian business-purpose funding platform focused on established SMEs with defined tax-debt, working-capital, growth or R&D-cycle requirements.
The planned products are intended for genuine business needs rather than consumer-purpose credit.
Financials, liabilities, cash flow, R&D evidence and the intended use of funds matter more than a generic credit story.
New products and larger ranges can be added over time without implying they are available before formal launch.
The planned platform starts with a focused product set rather than trying to be every type of lender. Business-loan products are currently positioned around tax debt, working capital and growth, with a separate planned R&D funding range for suitable companies.
The business remains in pre-launch. The final legal entity details, complaints information, application workflow and any legally required disclosures will be inserted before commercial launch. The website does not currently approve or offer credit.
A funding request is more useful when it identifies the actual liability or operating requirement, explains why it arose and shows what the business is expected to look like after the capital is advanced.
Accountants, registered tax agents, R&D advisers, lawyers and restructuring professionals retain their professional roles. SME Capital Partners’ future role is commercial credit assessment and facility structuring.
Pre-launch information only. Nothing on this page is a credit offer, approval or commitment to provide a facility.
